Ilda Hoxhaj
Coordinator
Ilda Hoxhaj completed her studies in General Medicine at the Medical University of Tirana, Albania, in 2016. In 2021 she was awarded a PhD Suma Cum Laude in Biomedical Sciences and Public Health, at Università Cattolica del Sacro, Rome. She is currently a research collaborator at Fondazione Policlinico Universitario Agostino Gemelli. She has been working in many European and international scientific projects, on the epidemiology and prevention of chronic diseases, health technology assessment, personalized medicine and genomics in public health. She is a research collaborator at the Center for Procreative Health at the Università Cattolica del Sacro, lecturer on research methodology, and author of many scientific publications. She is a member of Steering Committee of “Genomics in Public Health” at the European Association of Public Health and a member of Western Balkan Alumni Association. Read more

Drieda Zaçe

Drieda Zaçe obtained a degree in General Medicine from the University of Medicine, Tirana, in 2016. She has a Master degree in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, Rome and in 2021 she was awarded a PhD Suma Cum Laude in Biomedical Sciences and Public Health. She is currently working in the field of research on topics such as the role of food insecurity in health, reproductive health and inequalities in access to health services. She is the head of the research group at the Center for Research and Studies on Procreative Health at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore. She is a lecturer in research methodology and biostatistics at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore and the author of several scientific publications. She has been part of various European projects such as Erasmus and Marie Sklodowska Curie. She is a member of Western Balkans Alumni Association. Read More

Klejda Harasani

Klejda Harasani currently works as lecturer and researcher at the University of Medicine Tirana and has authored several peer-reviewed articles and scientific presentations. In 2015, she was awarded a Joint Ph.D. cum laude by the University of Granada (Spain) in “Clinical Medicine and Public Health” and the University of Medicine Tirana in “Pharmaceutical Sciences”, after completing a Master in Community and Hospital Pharmacy from the University of Camerino (Italy). Editorial Board member of Health Expectations journal and member of the Western Balkans Alumni Association (WBAA). Her current research interests are related to innovative teaching methods, pharmacoepidemiology, oncology and patient safety. Read More

Renata Petrevska Nechkoska

Renata Petrevska Nechkoska has a double Ph.D. degree in Business Economics from Ghent University Belgium (UGENT) with Ph.D. in Management at University St. Kliment Ohridski Bitola, North Macedonia (UKLO). She is currently assistant professor at UKLO (in change management, business informatics, e-business management, business communications, e-banking) and postdoc at UGENT. She was practitioner, banker for a decade before joining academia. Since 2015 she is an European Commission evaluator for ICT open disruptive innovation scheme as well as an alumna of Harvard’s Center for International Development PDIA and Elsevier Advisory Panel member. She is head of research team at WBAA, project manager for academia and R&D at EUvsVirus hack/matchathon and leads an academia diffusion experiment in open innovation in science, in open collaboration with global co-authors and the European Innovation Council. Her research in tactical management has been her way to build bridges of multiple aspects: disciplines (information systems, management, complexity etc.), countries (Western Balkans, European Union), research methodology (Design Science Research, Action Design Research, realist evaluation, etc.) Her work has been published as a book ‘Tactical Management in Complexity – Managerial and Informational Aspects, by Springer Nature in the series ‘Contributions to Management Science’ https://link.springer.com/book/10.1007/978-3-030-22804-0#toc. Mariglen Sinani
Graphic Designer
Mariglen Sinani born in Durres and living in Florence. Currently studying at the “University of Florence” Design and Architecure. In addition to studies he works as a freelancer making, covers, logos, layouts, posters for various clients. Drawing is his passion that accompanied and motivated him to develop the skills. He has always been “bothered” by advertisements, posters, covers and logos where he saw problems in the design both from the constructive and aesthetic side and he always had the satisfaction when tried to give them a solution.
